Important Information

Your Host

This experience is hosted by Escape Room Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 29 630 779 387).

How to Book

After submitting an enquiry (form below) we will send you additional information via email which includes an obligation-free invoice (link in the email).

Payment of the invoice will create a booking (or it can be left to lapse).

Price

$29.00 per person with a minimum of six and up to 16 persons.

Requirements

• A booked appointment

• A charged mobile phone with internet access

• All participants be aged 18 or over (no exceptions)

• 0.00 BAC (do not consume alcohol prior)

Book in Advance

Bookings must be at least one day in advance (not on the day).

Can we reschedule or cancel for a refund?

No refunds and no rescheduling is permitted without at least seven days notice in writing. You can get refunds for absentees (maximum of two).

What if persons are absent?

Up to two persons can be refunded (subject to six minimum). Your hosts will record attendance numbers on the day. 

Can we add extra people?

Yes - use the link in your booking confirmation email or contact us. You can also add more persons on the day (delays your start). 

Experience Format

Your group is divided into teams (two, three or four persons at your discretion).

Each team will get their own satchel containing evidence and detective tools.

Teams follow the instructions of their lead detective on the app.

Terrain 

The course is a six minute continuous walk in length (around 700m) with mild hills.

Runtime

​You have 60 minutes to navigate your way across the course collecting evidence to solve the murder.

Weather Warning

This is an outdoor experience.

• Book during daylight hours;

• Be sunsmart; 

• BYO water bottle, sunscreen & hat;

• Wear appropriate footwear;

• Dress according to weather conditions.

The Carpark - 31 Eastern Beach Road Geelong Victoria 

The Meet Up location is marked in the image above.

Our staff will be waiting in uniform holding satchels.

Parking

Parking is free on Saturday.

Parking on Friday is free after 5.30pm.

Paid Parking uses the EasyPark App

Late Arrival

We allow 30 mins for late arrivals. The experience will commence at the discretion of your host (eg if nine of ten persons are there we will start and let the one person catch up).

Loss of Booking (No Show)

If no one arrives within 30 mins of your starting time your booking is forfeit with no refunds and no reschedule.

Amenities

Eastern Beach is a public facility and does have public toilets. 

We has no control over the upkeep of these facilities. 

Alcohol

Anyone suspected of being over .00 will be refused entry. 

Smoking or Vaping

For the wellbeing of staff, other groups and our equipment no smoking or vaping is permitted whilst taking part in the activity.

What to bring

• Your Mobile Phone is essential. Charged with an internet connection.

• Reading glasses if applicable. 

• We recommend coming empty handed - the experience is made worse if you have to carry things. 

Adding extra persons on the day

You cannot add extra persons on the day. 

The cut off deadline is 11.59pm the night before your booking.

Use the link in your confirmation email to add more people to your booking.

Bad Weather or Events

We always work with you regarding any cancellation however management reserves the right to cancel if rain (> 20%) or wind (> 35kph) are forecast, or if a major CBD event is blocking the course (normally advertised well in advance).
