Technical Information
Does the Web-App need to be downloaded?
No - it is a standard web page any phone browser can read.
Do we need to provide our details?
No. The app uses an email address and first name only.
Does my phone need to meet certain specifications?
No - your phone will need to be able to scan QR Codes (comes standard on smart phones).
Does the Web-App require access to my Settings/Photos? Or any other permissions?
No.
Are we tracked?
No. Your host will be nearby and you will have walkie talkies.
Does the Web-App store things like cookies (browsing tracking) on my device?
No.

FAQ
Are there minimum requirements for the phones?
No. The Web App will run on all phones that have internet data and an internet brower (eg Chrome, Safari).
What if someone cannot make it?
We refund you for up to two absent persons (subject to a minimum of six attendees) at the same flat rate charged per person ($29.00).
What about the weather?
You will be exposed to the elements and even on an overcast day you can still get sunburnt.
Please wear sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and appropriate hat.
Polarised sunglasses are recommended.
Please hydrate before you attend - water bottles are welcome.
Are we allowed to record the experience?
No. Audio recordings, video recordings and photographs are strictly prohibited.
Will We End Up Lost? Back-Tracking?
No. We use physical maps, embedded Google Maps and a Supervisor to ensure you don't end up walking in the wrong direction or having to back-track.
Is it Supervised?
Yes your experience host will be on site.
Your host will not walk the course with you but will be nearby.
Can we buy tickets via other sites (eg Eventbrite or TryBooking)?
No. We only sell bookings via our own site.
Do I need to download your App?
No. The experience uses everyday Apps such as Google Maps and QR Code Reader (which is already inbuilt into your phones Camera App).
You will not need to download our App.
Are there in-App purchases?
No.
How long is the experience?
60 minutes is the guide with +/- 15 mins allowance either side.
Do we have to sign up for an account?
No, but you will need to log in and log out (no ongoing account).
Can we pay in Cash?
No. We accept online bookings only.
How hard is the experience?
The puzzles are general but challenging.
We designed the experience for adults aged 18 and over.
There are no technical, historical, academic or athletic requirements.
What if we do not want to do an Outdoor Experience?

Are we grouped with strangers?
No. Your group will be hosted exclusively.
Just be mindful the course does operate in an area open to the public.
What is the minimum number of people required in my booking?
Six persons.
Is there an age limit?
Ages 18+
What do we need to bring?
A charged phone.
Mobile data (small).
Will we see other people?
Yes. This is not an exclusive experience.
The general public have just as much right to be there as all of us.
Will we be obvious / have to wear things / look silly?
No, the only item we give you is a modern messenger bag smaller than A4 that blends in well.
What if we get stuck?
You may contact the staff member who will be nearby for help.
Can we use our phone for photos/videos/Snap Chat?
No. The booking terms prohibit any photos or recordings of the puzzles or experience at anytime.
Is it Safe?
The activity and props have all been tested and made safe.
The venue itself is in a public place. Staff check the course prior but we advise participants to be vigilant for any dangers.
The experience also requires crossing the road at times using traffic crossing and obeying traffic signals.
Is it physically demanding?
No. It will require walking along a 700 meter course (a six-minute walk) across flat and slanted turf and minor hills.
Seats are marked on maps supplied if they are needed.
What should I wear?
Casual and comfortable is best.
Please note: You will be walking around and will require to travel on grass.
We recommend ankle-supportive footwear.
What if I have asthma or an allergy?
As the experience is outdoors please ensure you have any asthma puffer or epi pen emergency items with you.
Do we need to enter any places during the experience?
No. Entering venues is prohibited.
This entire experience is outside along the Geelong Foreshore.
What if I arrive late?
We are flexible as traffic and parking can be hard during peak hours.
We will commence the briefing at your starting time with whoever is there or wait (at your discretion).
If no one is present 30 minutes after your start time your booking is cancelled and no refund is given.
Can we bring a pram?
Yes. We have had groups successfully complete the course with a baby in a pram several times.
Toddlers or those infants able to move about of their own accord are not permitted (too dangerous).
Souvenir Photo
At the end of the experience participants are welcome to a souvenir photo taken by us on your phone or ours.
These photos are optional.
Do we need a Reservation?
Yes. The experience is by appointment only.
Can we Add people on the day?
Yes - although this will delay your start time by +10 mins.
You can also use the link in your email to 'self add' more persons or contact us.
Are there Toilets?
Yes - there are public toilets available.
We recommend you have at least one of your team members with you when going for safety.
NOTE: We do not control the upkeep of these facilities.
Can we compete?
Yes, however we encourage groups to be respectful of all those participating, the general public, safety and of the equipment.
How do I cancel?
You may cancel by contacting us via online message (email or web site enquiry).
Cancellations with at least seven days notice by email to receive a full refund.
Inside seven days notice will not receive a refund unless at the discretion of management or bad weather.
Can I change or transfer my booking?
Bookings cannot be transferred.
Changes can be made provided the original person remains on the booking.
Please notify us of any changes to your booking.
When should we arrive?
You should aim to arrive at the venue 5-10 minutes early but no earlier than 15 minutes.
Is there secure storage?
No you will need to carry any personal belongings with you throughout the experience.
We recommend taking small valuables (phone, wallet) but leaving bulk items in your car/at home.
Can we bring food and drink?
No food or drink permitted during the experience (bottled water is okay).

Can we smoking during the experience?
No.
The experience is smoke free to avoid smoke damage / smells to the gear and for the comfort and well being of the participants and staff.
A $100 fee applies to gear that will be replaced if cigarette smoke damage/odors are present.
Smokers be advised: EPA Litter reports using vehicle regos are submitted by staff for anyone that stubs a cigarette without picking it up irrespective of whether the litter occurs before, during or after the experience.
Can we drink alcohol beforehand?
Drinking an open container of alcohol in public is a criminal offence.
The experience is alcohol free (0.00 BAC).
Any person suspected of having consumed alcohol will be refused participation.
Is there wheelchair access?
Yes.
The experience is wheelchair accessible - however please contact us prior to allow us to make arrangements to cater to any access needs and to allow us to provide you with further info.
Do we hand out Donations to Clubs or Charities?
In place of donations we offer the opportunity for you to host a fundraiser event with us, for which we donate a portion of the proceeds back to you.
Is there a starting venue?
No. We will be in uniform and will meet your group at Eastern Beach Ferris Wheel (with plenty of carparks available) for the briefing.
